Change, transformation, or alteration.... however one may choose to call it, can be seen daily in our lives. Whether it is opting to drink tea instead of coffee, or choosing a healthier diet to be a part of your life; more often we all have traits or habits we wish we could adjust, stop, or start. We were introduced at such a young age that change is something you have to endure forcefully to survive. But I beg to differ on this one word and its meaning.
To me the word change will not leave me with an uncomfortable feeling, but rather it fills me with excitement. Excitement over what? The unknown. No longer scared of what could happen or what lies beyond my comfort zone. I was forced to get out of my own comfort zone and began to see things in a different light. But I am grateful for that change, because without it I would not be here living my life in a whole different way.
Change might seem bittersweet, but through that bitterness will come the sweet part of change. Let's just say the bitter part of my 'bittersweet' change ended and now I am enjoying the sweetest part of it. This photo was taken a few weeks back, with me embracing a few changes I have in my life including my hair.
